Kursus memperkenalkan pelajar kepada Alam
Bina melalui penghasilannya secara keseluruhan; khususnya siapakah yang
terlibat, apakah teori di sebalik penghasilan, bagaimanakah alam bina
dihasilkan, apakah undang-undang yang berkaitan dan apakah bentuk-bentuk Alam
Bina di pelbagai skala termasuklah petempatan manusia seperti kampung, bandar
dan lebih khusus lagi kawasan perumahan. |
This course introduces
students to the Built Environment through its
production
as a whole; specifically who's involved, what's the theory behind the
production, how the environment is produced, what laws are related and what are
the forms of the built environment on different scales including human
settlements such as villages, towns and more specifically housing areas. |

Dengan pendedahan yang menyeluruh ini,
adalah diharapkan pelajar-pelajar akan peka kepada alam bina dan isu-isu
berkaitan dengannya dan seterusnya mengambil posisi dan mula membincangkan
isu-isu ini di dalam profesion masing-masing - rekabentuk dalaman, arkitektur,
perancangan, kejuruteraan, ukur bahan, pengurusan projek... |
With this overall
exposure, it is hoped that students would be sensitive to issues in the built
environment and therefore take their own positions to begin to discuss these
issues in their professional disciplines - interior design, architecture,
planning, engineering, quantity surveying, project management... |
