BIG tidak mengatakan ia percaya. Tidak pula BIG mengatakan bahawa ia tidak percaya. BIG hanya tidak tahu. Menghadapi masa depan yang tidak menentu ini (Titik 1 APEX), BIG hanya kita berfikir sama.

BIG does not say that it subscribes to the prediction, nor does it say that it does not. BIG just doesn't know. And facing the uncertainty of the future (APEX Point 1) BIG just invites USM citizens to collectively think.

So as not to be left out in the dark, BIG encourages all USM citizens be updated on this matter, especially from sources that attempt to adopt some form of objectivity, with a further understanding that this is not a likeable subject in the academia.

Terdapat dua sudut pandang Islam tentang 2012 berkisar sekitar istilah qiyamah (dari kata akar qiyam bererti bangun/ bangkit), amnya tentang "keruntuhan" dan satu lagi tentang "kebangkitan".   

There are two views of 2012 that centres around the term qiyamah (from the root word qiyam, to get up), the general view is that of the doomsday/ collapse/ disaster, while the other, the renaissance/ rebirth of Islam.

Pandangan keruntuhan yang dipungut dari hadith dan telah ditunjukkan sebagai palsu.

The view of the collapse, quoted from a hadith has been shown to be false.

Pandangan tetang kebangkitan Islam adalah seperti yang tertera, contohnya di Tibanya Era Kebangkitan.

The view of the renaissance of Islam may be found stated, for example in Tibanya Era Kebangkitan.

Posisi BIG

BIG's Position

BIG berpegang kepada pepatah Melayu “sediakan payung sebelum hujan.” Walau pun tidak hujan, payung BIG akan tetap terus berguna, walau pun hanya sebagai tongkat.

BIG goes by the Malay proverb “sediakan payung sebelum hujan”. Even if it doesn't rain, BIG’s umbrella can still be put into good use, even just as a walking stick.
