ConDome's New
Home @ LCK's Suriana Gardens, Balik Pulau

A new home for ConDome?
On Wednesday 12th of March 2008, Zafuan (third year
architecture), and I went the "other side" of Penang
island, to look for the place where ConDome would be
reassembled. It took us a while before getting to
the site. After having passed some show-homes
indicating Balik Pulau's development to come, we
finally went through a winding path to finally
arrive at Suriana Gardens. The
owner, Datuk Seri Lim Chong Keat, showed us
ConDome's new home, opposite a Temiar hut which
stood near a durian tree. |

With the help of Hamid the hut builder, we
struck the footprint of ConDome to eccompass the
durian tree. It shall be the Durian Tree in a
Dome or Doming a Durian, whatever. At least ConDome
has a place where it is and shall continue to be
appreciated, Thanks Datuk. |

Soon after moving the
struts to Suriana, I took a medical break, not
realizing that's it was two years before I
got there again. |
