Terengganu Tour, 29-30 Dec 2007

DocHalim received our entourage of four (my no. 3 Akir & no. 4 Iktab, and a family friend Alang) at his wonderful residence in Kuala Terengganu. Suddenly it was a satay dinner and sooner than we realized, he'd already arranged for us one of his bed & breakfast joints, above one of his clinics. The next morning he took us to the controversial RM45-a-plate Nasi Dagang Shop where we were surprised with a meeting with Dr Sulaiman.  Moving about KT to as far as Bukit Payong, we later met another classmate Yee (Dato' Wan Albakri) for lunch and soon aterwards, we're back on the E-W Hiway to KL. We apologize for not having waited until the fireworks show, the launching of KT City. May KT City be "quranic, encyclopaedic, ijtihadic" as it says it is. Oh, Tok Ku Paloh... he knows that we were close to Kg Manir although we didn't get to where he was laid to rest. Godwilling, we'll pay him a visit the next time around.

DocHalm has something up his sleeves.

He'd arranged a redezvous with Dr Slemang!

Retired from modern medical practice

Dr Sulaiman's dispensing alternative medicine now.

And at the same time flirting with Malaysian politics,

and globe trotting for medical inspiration.

30 years in 30 minutes... some update!
