How to Change the Properties or Resize the Frame ??

You can use the Pointer tool pointer.jpg (825 bytes) to select the frame you want to edit.

Then double click inside the frame on the layout.

The properties dialog for the frame you select will appears,

so you can make a changes for the frame now.

 

Biside that, you also  can resize the  frame, text, graphic, Scale bar,

North arrow on a layout by selecting it with the Pointer tool pointer.jpg (825 bytes) and then

dragging one of its selection handles.

 

How to set a Alignment for the Components on a Layout??

First, You can use the Pointer tool  pointer.jpg (825 bytes) to select components you wish to align

by dragging over them or hold down SHIFT to select more than one components one by one.

 

Next, go to the Graphic menu, choose Align.

Now you can specify how you want the components to align by setting

a vertical alignment or horizontal alignment from the align dialog that appears.

Then, press wpe20.jpg (1050 bytes).

 

How to Edit the Graphic Individually or Breakdown the Live Link between view & the components on a Layout ??

You can edit the graphics individually by using the Simplify option

to converts the contents of a frame into constituent parts.

 

Bides that, when you simplify the contents of a view, scale bar, legend, table or chart frame,

the connection between the frame & the view, table or chart in your project

is broken automatically.

 

You can apply this option by click the Pointer tool pointol.jpg (823 bytes).to select the frame whose

contents you wish to simplify.

Then choose Simplify from the Graphic menu.
