MTP was started on 5 January 1996 and will undergo continuous development to become a central resource for matters related to planning in Malaysia! This HomePage is developed by a TEAM comprising lecturers and students from the Urban and Regional Planning Programme at the School of HBP, USM. Technical support was also given by staff of HBP.


Asian Planning Schools Association APSA Congress Penang 2005 The APSA General Assembly decided to award the hosting of the 2005 Congress to the School of HBP, USM. The Assembly was held at the Rui'an House, University of Tongji, Shanghai during the First World Planning Schools Congress. Stayed tuned to this website for developments. Lee Lik Meng reporting and updating live via Internet from the Training Centre University of Tongji via dial-up access to HBP server. Updated 8.26 pm July 13, 2001.

The Opening Session of the 1st World Planning Schools Congress at 129 Hall, University of Tongji, Shanghai on 12 July 2001. Lee LM is in the 3rd row from the front, 2nd from left (click picture for enlargement). Lee was nominated and elected as an Executive Committee Member of APSA for 2001 - 2003.
