Introduction
Conducive spatial and thermal environments are major
aspect in the successful performance of a building. Both human beings and buildings interact with heat, light, sound, air, and other climatic and geophysical
elements that surround them and they contribute to the formation of comfort
condition. Related topics on environmental design of buildings and green
architecture are presented by the author under various topics classified as articles,
seminar papers, research findings and lecture notes.
ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN:
Architectural Aerodynamics
- Wind flow analysis in and around buildings.
- Wind tunnel simulation and modelling.
- Tall buildings and wind environment.
Applied Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- A new approach for the evaluation of wind effects on buildings.
- A competitive and flexible alternative in evaluating and optimising indoor environmental
design.
GREEN ARCHITECTURE - CURRENT ISSUES :

How sustainable is our beautiful beaches and natural landscape against
development?

"Flash Flood!". Effect of uncontrolled development or act of natural disaster?

Is this what we want? "An urban landscape or concrete jungle"

Still not too bad...! However, the greens are diminishing, the air become hotter
and more polluted, the people are more individualistic and clean water become more
scarcely. We have to strike a balance now!

"The Architect, developer and politician are land hungry monster"
Cant we stop and reeducate them?
"Love our green environment"
"Dan janganlah kamu berbuat kerosakan di
muka bumi sesudah Allah memperbaikinya."
